Details
“Las Mañanas de Arucas” 🌉 Architecture, memory, and shared roots between the Canary Islands and Venezuela take center stage in “Los Puentes Tangibles,” the cultural proposal promoted by the Department of Culture of Arucas as part of the Canary Islands Day program. We talk with speakers Silvia Trasancos and Daniel Belizario about this journey through five centuries of history and more than six thousand kilometers of distance, where domestic architecture, migration, and ways of inhabiting serve as a common thread to discover the cultural ties between both shores of the Atlantic. The lecture will take place on May 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Culture Center – Arucas Library, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
