Palabras Contadas 2026 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host, from May 14 to 16, at the Espacio Cultural Jesús Arencibia in Tamaraceite, the storytelling festival Palabras Contadas. The event, promoted by the Biblioteca Insular de Gran Canaria, arrives in our municipality with the collaboration of LPA Bibliotecas. An event dedicated to the spoken word, to the encounter with stories and to oral transmission as a form of creation, memory, and connection with the audience. Over three days, the festival will offer sessions aimed at family and adult audiences (free entry until full capacity is reached), as well as training activities for adults interested in delving deeper into the art of storytelling (free entry with prior registration).
