IX Seminar on Arboriculture and Landscape: Legislation for the protection and management of urban trees in the Canary Islands, in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. How do we apply the new legislation on urban trees in the Canary Islands? From May 12 to 14, we will hold the 9th Seminar on Arboriculture and Landscape under the motto From regulation to practice. A meeting for technicians, arborists, students and all citizens interested in the renaturalisation of our cities and the management of green infrastructure in the face of climate change. Programme: – May 12: Act 7/2025 on the protection of trees and landscape vision. – May 13: Good practice manuals, native flora and sustainable gardening. – May 14: Technical field visit (Obelisco – San Telmo Park) to analyse real cases in situ. The Seminar will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Gran Canaria.
