FILM SERIES WINDOW TO MOROCCO 18–20 April The Embassy of Morocco in Spain, the Consulate General of Morocco and the Government of the Canary Islands, with the support of the Moroccan Film Center (which provides the films), the Elder Museum of Science and Technology (which will host the screenings) and Casa África, bring to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria a series of contemporary Moroccan films that will help bring the realities of the neighboring country closer to the public. FATEMA, THE UNFORGETTABLE SULTANA Mohamed Abderrahmane Tazi 2022 – 112 minutes This film traces the life of Fatema Mernissi, a major figure of feminism in Morocco. A sociologist and writer, her thinking radiates throughout the world. This beautiful woman, with innate elegance, lived simply, surrounded by her books and her friends, most of them creators from different fields.
