Cinema – “A Corpse on the Shore” at the Elder Museum, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. CYCLE: WINDOW TO MOROCCO FILM SERIES 18–20 April The Embassy of Morocco in Spain, the Consulate General of Morocco and the Government of the Canary Islands, with the support of the Moroccan Film Centre (which provides the films), the Elder Museum of Science and Technology (which will host the screenings) and Casa África, are bringing to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria a cycle of contemporary Moroccan cinema that will help bring the realities of the neighbouring country closer to the public. A Corpse on the Shore Mohamed Fauzi (Aksel) 2024 – 132 minutes When architect Badr is found dead near the Marchica lagoon, Inspector Said is suspicious of the initial conclusions. Contradictory testimonies and unsettling findings during the autopsy lead him to investigate further. Little by little, he uncovers a shocking truth hidden behind that fateful night.
