A place to share personal stories and to learn from diverse ideas. Each time we pick a topic and frame the discussion around a few related questions. JOY "Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are." – Marianne Williamson 1. How would you define joy? Is it a choice or a circumstance? Do you think you're joyful? 2. Should "Joy" be taught in schools as a core subject? 3. Is society aware of the importance of joy, or are we sometimes more focused on other, less important things? 4. Can technology, social media, and having direct access to other kinds of lives and economic and social strata facilitate joy, or only "cheap dopamine"? Is joy easier to access for the economically wealthy? 5. Is "micro-joy" more important than "big wins"? 6. Can you feel joy if your country is at war? Are International Relationships then related to individual and collective joy? 7. What can we do collectively to be more joyful and to help future generations focus on what's really important?
