Talk — Women and Art at the Universidad Popular Ciudad Alta, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Due to the suspension of activities at the centres of the Universidad Popular as a result of Storm Therese, we have been forced to postpone the conference Women and Art. The talk, originally scheduled for 24 March, will take place on 7 April 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the UP Ciudad Alta centre. The conference will be given by Ángeles Alemán Gómez, Full Professor of Art History at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A researcher, cultural promoter and expert in art and feminism, she will delve into the relationship between the female gender and artistic expressions. The activity will take place in the Urbanización Cinco Continentes s/n.
