Photo Exhibition: The World of Innocence
Details
🖼️ Exhibition: “The World of Innocence” 📸 Photographic exhibition about everyday life in rural Nepal 📍The Municipal Theatre Juan Ramón Jiménez will host from March 3 to 29 the photographic exhibition “The World of Innocence”, an event organized by the NGO Educanepal with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of Telde City Council and the company Gestel. The exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of images that portray everyday scenes from rural Nepal, especially in the mountainous areas where Educanepal carries out its solidarity work. Through these photographs, visitors will be able to get closer to the reality of the communities in which the organization works on projects for the schooling of minors and support for families in situations of vulnerability. The snapshots capture the spontaneity of daily life, the innocence of childhood and the authenticity of the villages where José Díaz, founder of Educanepal, carries out his humanitarian work, conveying values of dignity, hope and resilience. 🗓 The exhibition can be visited at the Municipal Theatre Juan Ramón Jiménez from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ▪️ Special event: “Women in Nepal” 👉 As part of the programme of activities for the exhibition Mujeres de Telde, *on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m.*, the discussion meeting “Women in Nepal” will be held at the Iglesia Hospitalaria de San Pedro Mártir in Telde, with free admission until full capacity is reached. At this event, José Díaz will offer a close-up view of the daily reality of women in rural Nepal, addressing the social, educational and cultural challenges they face. The meeting will also feature guest speakers Clara Eugenia Ramírez and Lourdes Burón, who will contribute their experience and reflections on the role of women in contexts of vulnerability.
