Special Screening: LIKE A TREE IN BLOOM
Details
Special screening of LIKE A TREE THAT BLOOMS (Victoria Castro, 2025, 45 min) A sensory journey to the beginning of life and to the essence of the human being, which explores cinema as a space of perception and presence. A film told from the inside, from the body, from the experience of gestating and transforming. The film lasts 45 minutes. Afterwards we will open a dialogue where we can talk about the themes that have moved us (or maybe we will all just feel like staying together in silence… we’ll see). Synopsis: LIKE A TREE THAT BLOOMS is a poetic exploration of pregnancy and creation, where the Earth and the body merge into a single breath. From an intimate and contemplative gaze, the film portrays the very process of gestation as an act of love and surrender, inviting us to remember our origin and to recognize ourselves in our common destiny: to be love embodied. Schedule: Doors open: 5:50 pm. Screening starts: 6:00 pm. Note: All proceeds go directly to supporting the film. CCA Gran Canaria does not receive any income from ticket sales.
