4th Canary Islands Regional Cider Fair in Valleseco
Details
Valleseco becomes the festive and cider capital of the Canary Islands during the San Vicente Ferrer celebrations On Sunday, 24 May, the eve of the main feast day, the historic centre of Valleseco will become the epicentre of cider culture in the Canary Islands with the celebration of the 4th Canary Islands Regional Cider Fair, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. in the surroundings of the Municipal Square and the commercial area. Throughout the day, the public will be able to enjoy tastings, sales of local products, food trucks, cheeses, honeys and artisan pastries, as well as a wide selection of ciders produced in the Canary Islands and national and international varieties. The programme will also include the 4th Canary Islands Regional Cider Tasting, with different sessions open to the public upon prior registration, as well as the innovative workshop “Mixtura Sidrera”, an activity dedicated to cider-based mixology, where professionals from the sector will showcase new uses and innovative combinations using Canary Islands cider as the star ingredient. Within this day, one of the most eagerly awaited and emblematic events of the festivities will also take place: the traditional Hard-Boiled Egg Festival. From 12:00 noon, the Municipal Square will host the traditional free distribution of hard-boiled eggs and artisan cider from Valleseco, a custom that has become a true hallmark of the municipality and one of the most unique celebrations in the midlands of Gran Canaria. Music will once again play a leading role throughout the day with performances by Los 600, Qué Chimba and Chicas Melodía, creating a festive, family-friendly atmosphere for local residents and visitors. #sidradevalleseco #sidrafierro #sidrastuscany #sidraellagardevalleseco #bcolinaproducciones #sidras_niebla #sectorprimariograncanaria #volcanicxperience
