Details
JUANA AGUIRRE (ARG) ALIZULH (GC) DOORS OPEN: 20:00 SHOW STARTS: 21:00 TICKETS: ADVANCE: €18 BOX OFFICE: €20 Juana Aguirre returns to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as part of her new tour Los Pilares, with a special show in which she will journey through her two acclaimed albums, Claroscuro and Anónimo, and give a glimpse of the first songs that are still yet to come. The music of Juana Aguirre opens portals. Born in Buenos Aires, she learned to compose and produce while travelling around the world, until she released her first solo album, Claroscuro, in 2021, followed by Anónimo in 2025, both recognized for their expansive sound, their blend of acoustic and electronic elements, and the emotional power of their lyrics. The Los Pilares tour once again shows her shedding her skin and revealing the invisible layers that sustain her songs. https://juanaaguirre.bandcamp.com Opening the concert is Alizulh, the project of Héctor Matacherry (Anhelo) and Santiago Pérez Díaz-Bertrana (Svesda). The name means joy and it is what the Phoenicians called the Canary Islands upon their arrival. It is a sound research project that explores the sound worlds of electronic and electro-acoustic music, with a repertoire of original compositions that incorporate organic elements, everyday sounds from day-to-day life, and sounds of the closest surrounding elements. https://lambadarecords.bandcamp.com/album/alizulh
