Dance — 5th “Gáldar en Danza” Festival in various venues in Gáldar, Gran Canaria. From 23 to 29 April 2026, the city is transformed into a large stage to feel, share and experience dance in all its forms with the 5th edition of the Gáldar en Danza Festival. Contemporary and urban dance enter into dialogue with museums, squares and heritage spaces, celebrating International Dance Day with a top‑level programme and artists arriving from different corners of the world. For seven days, the festival will offer performances, workshops, meetings, urban dance, family programming and stage proposals in Gáldar’s unique cultural spaces. From performances for schoolchildren and contemporary pieces at the Guaires Cultural Centre, to community activities, hip hop gatherings, intergenerational dance and international projects that connect the island with Europe, Africa and mainland Spain. An edition that is committed to training, cultural exchange, local talent and contemporary creation, consolidating Gáldar as a meeting point for dance and the movement arts.
