Determined to be recognized as the best, he seeks out Minnesota Fats, a legendary pool champion. When he finally manages to face him, his lack of confidence makes him fail. The love of a lonely woman could help him leave that kind of life behind, but Eddie will not rest until he defeats the champion, no matter what price he has to pay to achieve it.
