Calado Canario Exhibition Opening
Details
The Agáldar Museum of City History will host the exhibition ‘Calado Canario’ from 19 to 29 May 2026, a showcase featuring the work created by the students taking part in the Gáldar Drawn-Thread Embroidery Workshop, an initiative launched to preserve and highlight one of the most representative traditional crafts of the Canary Islands. The exhibition opening will take place on 19 May at 6:00 p.m. at the Museum itself. The display will allow visitors to discover the results of the work carried out over the last few months by the participants in this training course, focused on the recovery and promotion of the art of Canarian drawn-thread embroidery.
