Theatre — Caligula at the Humanities Assembly Hall, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. What happens when someone with all the power decides that the rules don’t apply to them? The Theatre Club of the ULPGC Theatre Classroom brings to the stage Caligula, by Albert Camus. A classic of the theatre of the absurd that speaks of power, impunity and boundless freedom, with a Roman emperor who today could have many faces. A man with absolute power, without moral limits and convinced that his freedom justifies everything. The suit has changed. The logic has not.
