TESTIGO DE MI CRECER, Heriberto Zerpa in Concert and presentation of the novel Tiempo de viejas y mangos "Tiempos de viejas y mangos" is the chronicle of a lineage deeply rooted in the bay of Arguineguín, where the aromas of old salted fish and mangos evoke the memory of a community bound to the sea and the land. The work explores the passing of time, life's hardships, and the inevitable return to the roots of childhood. The presentation is combined with the musical show "Testigo de mi crecer" (Witness to My Growing Up), created by Heriberto Zerpa Falcón, who combines his work in Pediatrics with music. Through more than a dozen original songs, accompanied by images and texts, the project traces the emotional history of the city of Telde during the second half of the 20th century. With musical direction by Misael Pérez and a core group of seven musicians, the show weaves together traditional Canarian music with various Latin American styles. Together, the novel and the concert pay tribute to collective memory, generational growth, and the cultural identity of the southeast of Gran Canaria.
