Her Majesty the Queen is a monologue set in eternity, where Lolita Pluma—an emblematic figure inseparable from Parque Santa Catalina—takes the floor to reclaim her true identity: María Dolores Rivero Hernández. It is an incursion into the depths of the human being, where she confronts fragility, fears and the instinct for survival. It is a battle with her own existence, a real, romantic and poetic gaze of a person who lives between her true self and the character in which she hides; it is a hymn to the sensitivity that makes us human. María Dolores, tired of having been turned into a spectacle, a myth and a jester, confronts the society that applauds her without stopping to look at her vulnerability. Behind the sparkle, the make-up, the popular legend, there was an abused, wounded woman, marked by loneliness and mental illness that no one wanted to see.
