Esteban Pérez DJ Set
Details
ESTEBAN PÉREZ He inherited from a very young age his saxophonist father’s passion for music and for collecting it in any format, along with an almost obsessive drive to unearth the most hidden gems. Esteban Pérez is one of the key figures for understanding the evolution of the clubbing scene in the islands. A lover of roots black music, electronic sounds and club culture, he has brought real shine to the DJ booth, channeling his passion for drums, groove and drum machines. A vinyl and diggin’ culture enthusiast, he is a founding member of the collectives “Fierabrás” and “We Love Disco”. His distinguished ear is all he needs to spin magical journeys from Chicago and Detroit house to exceptional afro-funk gems, or anything he discovers along the way in between. In any case, and whatever it may sound like, on stage Esteban Pérez always follows the same pattern: we don’t know how he does it, but his sets provoke us, dazzle us, and simply won’t let us go.
