Details

La Compañía Nómada, led by Roberto Torres, a leading figure in contemporary dance in the Canary Islands, presents “Frágil”, a piece that speaks of the aging body as a political territory and of what happens when silence fills with breath. A body, even when tired, says with its mere presence: I am. Teatro Guiniguada, LPGC Saturday 14th, 8 p.m. Tickets at elteatroguiniguada.com It is not a work about old age, but about what breaks when a society does not know how to look back. A poetic and ritual journey, where fragility becomes resistance and the “I” reveals itself as a territory in dispute. Through the body, silence, trembling, bolero, the scream and stillness, “Frágil” invites us to feel, look and listen beyond appearances. With Roberto Torres, dancer, performer and choreographer who transforms his body into a living archive of stories, and Diego Reinfeld, oral storyteller and narrative therapist, who accompanies and guides the creation, unraveling the memories hidden in movement. Piece included in the “Guiniguada en danza” programming line of the Teatro Guiniguada. Compañía Nómada Teatro Victoria
