Festival Mar Abierto confirms Víctor Manuel as the first artist of its twentieth anniversary in the Canary Islands Víctor Manuel returns to Festival Mar Abierto for its 20th anniversary with his new tour Solo a Solas Conmigo, next November 8 at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in which the artist presents his new album and revisits his greatest hits. On this new tour the audience will be able to discover some of the new songs that will be part of his upcoming work. And, without a doubt, classics such as “Soy un corazón tendido al sol”, “Ay amor”, “El abuelo Vítor”, “Quiero abrazarte tanto”, “Nada sabe tan dulce como su boca”, “Planta 14”, “Solo pienso en ti”, “Bailarina”, “Adónde irán los besos” or “Asturias” will not be missing, true anthems that are part of our collective memory. Solo a Solas Conmigo speaks about all of us and about the moment we are living through. As the saying goes, a fish that sleeps is carried away by the current, and this song, this project, rows against the current, against blind following and the stupidity of writing life off as lost. With more than six decades of career and a repertoire full of generational anthems, Víctor Manuel returns with a tour that promises emotion, new songs and a very special reunion with his audience. Solo a solas conmigo takes over from the great tours that have marked the artist’s recent career —“Vivir para cantarlo”, “50 años no es nada” and “La vida en canciones”— and promises to become a new unforgettable encounter between Víctor Manuel and his audience.
