Meaningful Conversations: How to Be Rich
Details
To join the whatsapp community for this series of events: https://chat.whatsapp.com/ERneZCMrs17ABxb03jnsmv Hey, discover how to master your emotional intelligence with a thought-provoking and friendly approach. Join us for a modern-day version of an 18th-century salon. Engage in an evening of meaningful conversation without the usual small talk. A place to share personal stories and to learn from diverse ideas. Each time we pick a topic and frame the discussion around a few related questions. **HOW TO BE RICH 💎** "The sharing of joy, whether physical, emotional, psychic, or intellectual, forms a bridge between the sharers which can be the basis for understanding much of what is not shared between them." Audre Lorde 1. What does ‘being rich’ mean to you? Can someone be rich without feeling inner peace? Why or why not? 2. What does a 'rich life' look like beyond money? Does society overvalue money and undervalue human connection? 3. What role does capitalism play in our perception of richness? Should billionaires even exist in a fair society? 4. If wealth mostly depends on the system, why does financial failure feel – most of the time – personal? Is poverty a failure of individuals or of the system? 5. Are we taught to admire wealth instead of questioning it? How does your cultural background or rent per capita shape your perception of wealth? 6. What would you do if you had all the money you wished to have? How could we feel richer, and inspire future generations to value a deeper kind of wealth? Bring a jacket or sweater if it’s cold… Hope to see many of you there, welcome! ⏰ FORMAT 18:00 - 18:10 - Welcome and introductory casual conversation 18:10 - 19:45 - Discussion guided by the event prompt questions 19:45 - 20:00 - We reassemble to sum up discussions and share thoughts or insights from the groups. 20:00 end of event (or let's stay and keep chatting!) 👀 WHAT'S THE VIBE Diverse: it's not rare to have people from all continents, as well as people from different ages, religions, ideologies, and backgrounds. Vulnerable: we value real conversations, personal stories and experiences. Casual: some people are having tea, others wine, some listen more, others talk more, some are taking notes, others are fully absorbed in conversation. 💰 PRICES In person events are organized for FREE. To meet with, share experiences, hear different perspectives from people of all walks of life, different generations, and different corners of the planet" – Scott Ruddell, Colorado | LQA premium member "Since joining LQA I have had the opportunity to meet some fantastic people who have a wide range of knowledge and life experience. Of course, before participating I was under the impression that one must have read tons of books, possess a higher IQ or even be a quiz master but frankly, those qualities are not the ethos for LQA. I personally learned that it’s about sharing, coming together with all sorts of knowledge and having a growth mindset to learn and hear other people’s perspectives. Overall, I would highly recommend joining LQA as it will broaden your horizons and it will enable you to share your world views on a larger scale with like-minded people." – Shah Karim, London | LQA premium member SEE YOU THERE
