Nelly, an 18-year-old young woman who lives peacefully with her adoptive mother in a small Swedish town, sees her world turned upside down when Jenny, her biological mother, bursts into her life, returning from the city accompanied by Jack, her lover, a failed actor with a disturbing aura.
