Shared Music Jam at Nyc Taxi Rock Bar
Details
LET’S GO WITH THE THIRD AND LAST SESSION OF THIS BLOCK!!! What we’re experiencing is incredible. THANK YOU ALL for the amazing reception in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Endless thanks to LPGC2031 and all their team. Next Friday, March 6, we’ll celebrate shared music with all of you in a very special location, full of soul and with an unforgettable memory of so many afternoons of live music in our minds and in our hearts. A nod to that program that used to make us so happy. This Jam is synonymous with unity and we’ve teamed up with NYC Taxi Rock Bar to offer this afternoon of music and music-loving friends, and with the podcast “No Que Va” which will give voice to the story of our amazing guest artist, Mel Omana, a true representative of our land wherever she goes. If you don’t know her yet, start warming up so she doesn’t catch you off guard, because her voice and her charisma are pure force of nature. Opening musicians: Mel Omana – vocals Zapata Music – guitar Franqi Town – guitar Kilian Millares – drums L. Rousset – trumpet Jose Vera Bello – saxophone Ale Music – drums / keys Toti Madina – keys Live Painting by Em Patia Paintings At the end we will have a DRAWING for THE THREE PAINTINGS that Em Patia Paintings has been creating over these three wonderful days of art and culture. And when we put down the instruments, we’ll have our friend and neighbor Ruymusik on the decks to make us dance until the very end. We’ll also have bands and guest artists taking part, we’ll revisit Canarian rock with special guests from our local scene, and FROM THIS VERY MOMENT we’re opening the list for musicians who want to join the Jam. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY, SEND US A DM – the list and the time we have are limited! This Friday we’ll meet at 5:00 p.m. in front of NYC Taxi Rock Bar on the Paseo de Las Canteras.
